Parkhill is a small wood with
two short circular waymarked walks and a short dog exercise
loop. The paths and car park were only put in in 1999,
when extensive thining was also undertaken, and since
then the wood has become more and more popular with
people who want a short walk.
The paths which leave from the car park are all waymarked
as footpaths. These paths are vulnerable to erosion
cause by wheels and hooves. For this reason we would
ask cyclists and horse riders to respect our efforts
to zone this very small wood, and not to ride here.
Our nearest facilities for horse riders and cyclists
are at Kirkhill, on the other side of Dyce.
How to get there:
Parkhill is just across
the other side of the River Don from Dyce, about 4 km
north east of Bridge of Don.
