Kirkhill is a working forest which really has something for everyone! There are waymarked circular walks, a permanent orienteering course, a horse trail and a cycle trail. Also brand new in 2005 the mountain bike fun park - look out for further developments over the next 2 years.

There are great views to the north east from the summit of Tyrebagger Hill, and a whole network of forest roads and tracks for you to explore. The main entrance is less then 5 km from the outskirts of Aberdeen - a real "green lung" for the city.

How to get there:
This wood is on the north side of the A96, between the Dyce roundabout and the Blackburn roundabout.
